Dan Rather once said, “The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called “truth.”” For many students the “truth” is they don’t see the need to learn math or science. In this episode join Chris to hear how you might talk STEM to get those reluctant learners to get engaged.
Don’t forget to ask questions such as “have you seen any good math lately?” And remember if they think there is a need for it, they may, just may, do math – such as the Pythagorean Theorem.
