In 2018 Tania Bumstead received the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence in STEM. She is a seventh and eighth grade Math and Science teacher at Vista Hills Public School in Waterloo, Ontario Canada. She has been at the forefront of developing a culture of innovation, collaboration, and communication at the rapidly expanding school. It is not uncommon to find her students collaborating with classrooms around the world solving problems.
