Just What Is Engineering and How Can You Get It Into The Classroom? (STEM Everyday #15)

0

engineeringJust what is engineering? The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines engineering as the application of science and mathematics by which the properties of matter and the sources of energy in nature are made useful to people.  The word “Engineer” comes from the Latin word ingenium meaning “talent, genius, cleverness, or native ability”.

Chris likes to think of engineering as designing and refining.

In this episode join Chris to see how you can unleash your students’ cleverness and native ability to design and refine something that will be useful.
