The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is the nation’s leading voice promoting equity and education for women and girls. AAUW has been empowering women as individuals and as a community since 1881. Ana Kay Yaghoubisan is the STEM Senior Manager at AAUW and helps young women realize their interest in a STEM related field.
Join Marion Leary as she visits with Ana Kay as she addresses disturbing statistics of gender bias in the workplace. Other interesting facts of the US needs of more than 1.7 million engineers in less than ten years will also be discussed. Oh and lets not forget that STEM is actually exciting and collaborative.
