do your kids do STEM during breaks?

0

It’s the semester break for students.  Holidays to celebrate, trips to take, and plenty of boredom too.

But breaks can also be one of the best times to spark STEM imagination and interest.  Kids are naturally curious.  They love to explore and create and build and make.  And then we educators ruin it with worksheets and grades and standards.

So, challenge your kids to go outside…or build a fort…or interview a senior citizen about their experiences with STEM…or make a blueprint of your house…or…

Just encourage them to do something.  And perhaps you can join them and help make the memories.
